I saw it work in a game on another forum, guess Sithdarth has different standards of what makes an acceptable strategy than the guy running the other game.

Come on, don't be a sore winner!

It's only a game.

A game of messing with people's heads.

So this time I lose, next time you might lose.

Heck, we might both be losing this time.

And the best part about a game involving messing with people's heads is that you can keep playing after you're gone.

You won't know until you kill him whether Skyshot is actually the remaining cultist, and in fact I've encouraged my wonderful cultist to continue leading you all on.

Also, you won't know until you kill her if Mesden is actually the PO, and you better believe she's going to do her best to convince you she's not.

And the best part is, I might be telling the truth on one count but not the other, so you can't use the results of one test to determine the other.

Messing with people's heads is the most fun game there is.

Newb was running through the halls of the SGC avoiding the partols as best he could. It was finally time to set the base self destruct mechanism. As he turned that final corner he found almost the entire base waiting for him.

"We know what you are and what you intend to do," they said. "And it can not be allowed." With that they opened fire with Zats and P90s. Newb was able to use his evolved human powers to hold them off for a few seconds but in the end they finally found the right frequency on the power cancellation device. Thus ended Newb Adria Ori Army Leader: Ori Alinged

Wow Sith. Thanks. I thought that after leaving The Learnening I earned the title of worst Mafia-runner, but man, how can I hope to compare? I never insulted the players in my game. I never outed a player's scheme, thereby summarily dooming him, just because I thought his gambit was, in my non-playing eyes, stupid. (Although I do have to give you props for alibi. I mean, sure, you never explicitly changed the rules to state that fake roleclaims weren't allowed, but you're the GO right, your word is law, so no matter how much justified gnashing of teeth occurs, you could care less. Congrats.)

But now I'm torn. On the one hand, I want to stick around and see just how far Sith is willing to ride his meager powertrip. Perhaps he will become so disgusted with the Mafia, all of whom are constantly lying that they aren't scum, he'll just release a list of names and call it a day. I would never have imagined it before, but all the ingredients are right there.

The other part sees this as another bulet point on the big "List of Why I Should Be Ashamed of Bringing Mafia to NPF", and the final nail in the coffin in general.

Okay, time to play "what does the outsider see."

1. Newb made a post, in-game, that contained a certain strategy. This strategy was quite clever, but at the same time extremely confusing.
2. Sith stepped in before the confusion could spread majorly and hinted at fishiness in Newb's claims. That's what a GM does, step in if someone oversteps a line. Like a forum moderator or something.
3. Everyone voted to kill Newb off. This happened more or less as a result of Sith stepping in, of course, but the point here is that everyone, as far as I can see, was perfectly fine with that. Especially Newb himself. So, situation resolved, right?
4. Prismatic, who had left Mafia games some weeks prior, comes in and throws a fit.

Look, Prismatic, you left, you're not even playing in this game, and you seem to be the only one who has a problem with this situation. If anyone else has, I'm sure they'll speak up, but if you absolutely must discuss Sith's GM'ing style, do it by PM or whatever, but don't try to disrupt the game itself, okay?
