Canada's Secret Weapon.

If you thought the world of entertainment television was running low on ideas, you cannot doubt that claim now.

Not quite dead yet!

I don't see where they could possibly go with it.
Edit: Except in the "Spaceballs: The T-Shirt" direction.

The way I see it, if they keep the same attitude & maturity as the movie (maturity in the non-kiddy dumbed down sense), it could at least be decent. If however, they turn it into a kiddie mockery of the series, or something that leans a bit too much on parody, then yeah it could suck.
Just not any worse than anything else on TV. SWB

Canada's Secret Weapon.
|
...I have a feeling it's going to end up like that Ewok series they had back in the 80's. Which was like a Sci-Fi smurf series.

I'm out.
|
I'd watch it. Unless it isn't Mel Brooks who plays Yogurt. Then i wouldn't watch it.

So we are clear
|
I was never huge on Spaceballs, I'm a Thumb Wars guy. But I have to agree with the statement, there really isn't anything to go off of. The movie was complete and self contained, I just think anything would feel tacted on. Probably one of those continuity busters we all hate.
