Mr. Bookworm: Unless you can really impress me, I'm heavily leaning towards no on the link thing...I don't like the idea of being able to mess with the mind of someone else's character.

Why do you think I designed my whole character around this principal? And I chose the Steyr HS50, the very same that is currently being used against coalition troops in Iraq right now by a legendary sniper. Range of 1500 metres normally, but mines customised, so I'm saying 2000 metres.

EDIT: I find it strangely odd that both Secretskulls character and FBMs character are both 24 and BOTH were recruited 5 years ago and both of thier posts came after each other. It's also possible that either me or Mes recruited one or either of them.

Oh and speaking of Mes; do you really think, in the case of a full scale demon invasion, that the government would sit around for weeks or even days before deciding whether or not to launch a nuke? No, it's kind of one of those things where a decision has to be made pretty damn sharpish, if not instantly, which is why they would have a high ranking member out in the field on a case which could lead to such an event, so as to have somebody with the power and judgement to order such a thing, which is what I was going for with my character. But if TB says no nukes then no nukes it is.

Special Ability: Troy can create exploding plushies on a whim, within a certain radius of himself. People who are familiar with the Avatar RP know what I'm talking about. In actuality, they're familiar spirits that Troy has contracted with that just happen to manifest into the form of plushies, storing Troy's energy and using that for their explosions.

That aside, he has practiced the traditional ninja arts. Stealth, speed, and weapons training. He's also capable of using ninjutsu, his family's style of magic, but instead of incantations they use hand seals, and often require a special brand of sigils which he just doesn't have at the moment.

Bio: Troy is half of a set of twins, the other half being his sister Trish. Though not born into their clan, they were adopted into their current family when the last of the youngest generation had died from disease. Designated as the heirs, who would let the clan live on in spirit, if not in blood, they received the training that the others before them had had.

However, the styles of the two siblings would diverge, with each focusing on their own special brand of fighting.

Eventually, though, the same disease that had taken the young away also struck the old. It seemed like a curse of the blood (which, in reality, it was, though neither of the two had caught on at the time), and despite their efforts to find a cure their last relative, an old woman they knew as Grandmother, took her last breath before they had even returned.

Unable to think of anything else to do, they took up jobs as free-lancers, selling their skills to make a living. Still, intending to try to live normal lives, they enrolled in a high school, and tried to pass as ordinary people.

For the most part it worked. Ignoring, of course, all the absences they couldn't explain.

It was a sheer stroke of luck that they happened to go to the same school as the Mother of Hell, and though they aren't being paid to keep an eye on her they still do so in secret. It's not so much her that Troy is worried about, but the people that would get dragged in, the community.

Equipment: Like many ninja seen in movies, he'll wear the classic apparel - mask and outfit and everything. Something to note, though, are the cat ears on top of his hood, that just don't seem to match the rest of the gear. They actually do serve a purpose - sigils placed in them allow him to sense his surroundings better.

As far as weapons go, he uses the standard kunai and shuriken, as well as a kusarigama.

He also had sigil'd shurikens, but over the course of time he ran out his stock of them. Though he and his sister both know the basics of how to make them, it takes time and practice, and so far no results have proven to be effective in combat.

Naturally, though, he won't be carrying weapons around in plain sight normally, or even be dressed in his gear unless he has to.

You know what sucks? Working from 10 am to 7 pm. That just takes time away from the important things. Things like finishing sign up sheets.

Name: Trish
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Class: Ninja
Special Ability: Sigil Origami—What started out as a joke to mock her brother’s plushie summoning ability has become her specialty. Trish’s pockets are full of small origami animals: Each one made from a paper with a sigil written on it. They are pre-made the day before, since they take so long to do, and are all relatively simple spells—fire or small explosion spells for the most part. If she runs out, she has to make more. It takes a while, so it’s not a job she’d do mid-battle. Because of this, she doesn’t rely on them too heavily.

Trish is also fully trained in all things ninja. Like her brother, she has super ninja-y stealth and speed abilities.

Neither Trish nor Troy are official guardians of the Mother of Hell, whom they discovered was attending their high school, but due to the dangerous nature of the situation, and the fact that this was far more interesting than geometry homework, the twins decided to keep an eye on things.


Equipment: Trish carries darts, a pair of kunai, and--breaking from the more traditional ninja weaponry—a shorter naginata. Why? Because it’s cool, that’s why.

She wears a uniform similar to Troy’s, except she lacks the kitty ears. She does, however, wear black cargo pants with many pockets for dart/origami storage.

Like Troy, Trish keeps a low profile while not on ninja duty.

Special Abilities: Demon magic

Bio: Xvlzycvuix is an Outcast. The former peon of a Demon Lord. While he managed to escape his Lord's wrath, he did not escape unharmed. He was mortally wounded during his daring and adventurous escape from Hell (A story for another time).

Once on Earth, he was quickly found by S.E.C.A. It hard to not notice an opening from Hell. When they found the almost dead Xvlzycvuix, they decided this was their best, and possibly only, chance to study a fully manifested demon.

So then they tested. With tests. And science. Then The Society came in and did tests. Tests with magic. Since the humans had no idea what they were doing, Xvlzycvuix's wounds from his escape never healed as they should have, weakening him severely.

After being fully tested on, S.E.C.A. decided to use John (What they started calling him) as a hunter. They didn't simply kill him since it was decided that the benefits a live, subservient demon offered outweighed the potential threat of him going wild. Seeing as his only other choice was death, John agreed to serve them. Of course, he was still a demon, so they didn't trust him. Several safeguards have been installed, in case he tried to defy them.

His current mission is protecting the Mother of Hell. Since the Mother is now of breeding age, the most danger will be around her. Also, it would be the best way to keep an eye on John. Everyone is guarding the Mother, and if he is assigned to her, they will all be watching him as well. For his mission, John has taken the form of a high school student and has been planted into all of the Mother's classes.

Personally, John wants to keep the Mother alive as well. He wants the Gates of Hell closed, so his Demon Lord can never get him back. While the human world is cruel, it does not compare to Hell for those without power.

Equipment/Belonging: A bomb implanted somewhere in him, and sigiled bombs as well. He almost always has candy with him, usually M&Ms. Sweets are one of the few things John enjoys in the human world, and one of the fewer things S.E.C.A. will allow him to have.

Extra: Due to his Demon Lord injures and human testing, John has been crippled. Physically he barely beats your average person. He also has bouts of horrible pain, where he is unable to do anything besides suffer. Heavy physical blows put him in this state as well. He's also a sickly character, constantly coughing and looking like he will die soon.

Also, Xvlzycvuix just represents some unpronounceable sound.

His status as demon would be known to all, since I imagine it would be hard to have a pet Outcast without everyone knowing.
