Major, it might be useful to alert everyone that the game has started, otherwise we will be up to our heads in "lurkers".

Well there are two options really:
Firstly we can lynch someone. This is generally a statisically good strategy and is one of the best way for townies to hit mafia (someone can run the statistics on our numbers if they want).
There is an exception however. If we are going to get clues from killings (which I feel we just might) it pays to not lynch anyone to keep the game going as long as possible to get clues.
I'll wait to see what others say but I think if we wait and see who talks and who doesn't it generally makes for a more fun game if we get rid of the quiet ones. Trying to fly under the radar, pah!
Now that I think about it that statement from LHN is pretty suspicious! Is he new at this or has he played before? I also throw in a POS: LHN

LHN is in Basic Mafia right now so he's at least played in one other game. His post really makes it sound like he has a night role and is trying to play it off with that comment to seem innocent to the town and so that we'll ignore him. Even if he were a townie and thought that way there's no reason for him to have posted that without a good reason and if he's a townie then that's not a good enough reason to basically do a roleclaim. I suspect he wants to cover up his real motive and role by saying that.
