So it was a meteor? At first, I though it was that Blue/Green faded thing next to Thief at the edge.

Would I be correct in saying the meteor is in fact being blown out of the ground by the explosion? I would imagine it'd happen, now that I think about it.
Excellent comic, by the way. I do believe that it was long overdue for another city-ending explosion, courtesy of BM.

I didn't notice the meteor at first, I actually read this thread and started looking for the cameo, then I saw the weird smudge next to Thief and thought it was the green smudge from when Black Mage cast the meteor spell to crush the M.A.R.T.A.N.S, I didn't even expect to see the meteor until mattblack04 pointed it out.
