Someone redirected the lynch or just absolved Ecurt of his sins so he didn't die.
EDIT: Which actually makes me think; if we're accepting Wolvie to be the vig, then Ecurt had to have been targeted by some sort of scum, right? Which means that one of the people, at least, who tried to lynch him must be the scum that targeted him at night because they wanted him out of the way.

Comic-book-Sue is not as hot as Movie-Sue, I don't know what Nikose is basing this on, but my guy's never had a movie made about him that I know of, so I bet comics.

I think I know Ecurt's role, I think he's the Changeling. I mean, remember the comic book story where Changeling became Xavier at Xavier's behest?
