reasonable has nothing to do with it. He made a guy cut off his own finger then use his bloody stump to write a message before bleeding to death. Only that which he absolutely cannot do wont work

Well the reason I'm saying that it's unlikely is because Light couldn't make one guy write "I know L suspects the police", because he didn't think that. So if Nayno thought B_Real wasn't scum, he can't be made to think B_Real is scum. And voting B_Real would mean he thinks B_Real is scum.

Basically the Death Note can do anything you want as long as you don't overdo it. In the series Light had used it to cause people to commit suicide and to send messages in code. However, you can't make someone do something impossible and you can't get them to (knowingly) reveal information that they don't actually know. Can you change their opinion or cause them to do something extremely out of character? I'm thinking yes but the limits are vague.

What's wrong with a mentalist using their power this early?

of course if we kill them both and they are both POs or some one that can help the defenseless townies ...then well we're boned...oh well
