2. He wasn't giving us any information and he wouldn't even tell us who he had killed, when an anti-town role wants to make a deal with the town his deal should be better than "The town doesn't lynch me and I continue to kill whoever I want."

I thought he had said who he targeted and had spoken of his support for the town by saying he was going after scum.

After seeing you bring that up, I am actually fairly suspicious of you. Especially considering that you are laying a lot of stuff on someone who cannot defend themselves.

Sure, if RR is innocent (and thus Newb is scum, unless I'm misinterpreting the train of thought here), vigs can go and kill Newb... but! Scum obviously have power roles, and I bet that PO is just one of them.

Man... scum PO can turn out to be nasty if they're lucky at finding doctors/bodyguards. This can get bad for town and fast.


EDIT- Actually, we have two scum POs dead (see page one, and remember that I got the Alberto PO verdict from SK). I still wouldn't be suprised if Newb was the other, or in the other's family.

Or you are another mafia PO and are pushing on Newb. Really, there is nowhere for this to go without risking a town power role. Russian Reversal offers a chance to vindicate and exonerate one of you, that way we won't kill off the wrong one.

Pretty much that's the idea.

If RR = not scum, there's a better than good chance Newb is. I'm not sure of anyone else on the roster the hints would fit, so it's not like this would be a misinterpretation.

RR coming up scum doesn't necessarily exonerate Newb, but it buys him a little bit of credibility, which can be confirmed or denied by an investigation and still leaves for the possibiltiy of making use of Newb's powers should he come up legit.

... That's assuming RR comes up scum and somebody doesn't immediately night-gack Newb.

So yeah, that's the basic line of thinking, but there's good reasoning behind thinking so.

I agree, especially because of one glaring flaw.

They could both be scum. Hell, to be fair, me, RR, and newb could all be on different families. Not saying I am, of course, but for you all everyone else knows...

So yeah. Still voting for Newb because the RR theory is very very flawed.

Hey, you're free to do so. Like I said, I can see the argument for both sides. However, the flaw could be corrected if someone, like yourself, investigated him for confirmation the night after, should RR come up scum. Like I mentioned earlier.

The flaw in the "Lynch Newb" plan is it doesn't account for Newb being innocent. With next to zero night information coming from dead bodies, if Newb does come up legit, it would be more prosperous to have him around with any information he may provide than hanging by his neck in the town square.

Just saying both plans do exist flawed and I can truly get behind either one, I simply support the one that makes Newb available to us if he isn't scummy.

Well of course there's that possibility. I'm choosing newb over RR as the play because RR is a less of a potential threat.

And I can't double check Newb's claims anymore as my powers are two-shot.

No, that's the point. we would have no way to verify if he was actually helping us and he could say he was going after scum all he wanted but he doesn't have any more information then the rest of us and as the SK it wouldn't really matter to him who he killed.
