Greetings, loyal citizens of Alpha Complex, I sincerely hope you are well. I am afraid that I must inform you that, despite the order I—your Friend Computer—have been able to maintain for you all—not all is well in our glorious Alpha Complex.

Of course you know the illustrious exploits of our trusted Troubleshooters against the treasonous forces that threaten our utopia—not knowing is treason. But, despite the best hopes of both you and Friend Computer, we have all been betrayed by the mutants and communists who refuse to see the beautiful reason and logic and compassion of Friend Computer. They have proven more evil than anyone (without treasonous knowledge) could have suspected. And so, Friend Computer must abandon his abundant mercifulness for order and justice.

But fear not, my loyal citizens. Alpha Complex will survive, our way of live will persevere, and Friend Computer will protect you all from the scary mutants and vile communists—you must simply have faith. Faith is mandatory.

This date marks the beginning of a new, more glorious future for the war against treason and all of Alpha Complex and it’s faithful. So remember to keep an eye out for treasonous and suspicious behavior, and above all, be happy and have fun.

Night Zero

Friend Computer’s glorious band of valiant Troubleshooters stalked through the darkened, post-curfew walls of Alpha Complex. Footsteps and arguing collaborating voices echoing softly off the metal walls and stilled conveyor belt. And yet, in the moments of silence, it seemed other voices in the sector. Other, treasonous voices. Friend Computer’s brave allies froze bravely, eyes wide in bravery.

In a jumbled, non-communist heap they piled around a nearby door, where the sounds seemed to be coming. They went to peer inside the darkened room when a shot was fired. A shot that surprised everyone. The bright, red flash of superfluous light lit the room for a split second as another, more focused beam burned into the flesh of Pink Bunny - Pink-O-CMY-1, Communist Comrade. Pink-O-CMY-1, rather than falling, stood, flailing in blind rage for the assailant. And, almost in answer, a voice seemed to erupt from the darkness of the room.

“Take that!” Pink struck, tackling and wrenching the body as the Troubleshooters fled made a tactical advance to the rear. As the fight finally dwindled Pink’s body slumped near the beaten and broken body of Red Fighter - Carlem-R-CKS-1, Communist Arch-Comrade. The communist party had been fatally wounded.

However, all was not so positive for Alpha Complex. In a mystifying turn, the body of Bellerussian - Evylin-R-SAT-2, Sierra Club Director was found in her room with her throat slit. Records of the event must have been removed from Friend Computer’s database by non-communist traitorous scum. The threats to truth, justice, and Alpha Complex are numerous.

We all have our work cut out for us.

Night Zero has ended. Day One is now.
Deadline will be sometime around 48 hours from now, I think. Thirteen to lynch.

Rules Note: I will be, as Friend Computer, distributing demerits at certain junctures. A demerit counts as a vote against you. They are all systematically cleared at the end of the Day.

One assumes an Arch-Comrade is a don but not sure why the communists are attacking each other. Though that sounds like the sort of things those treasonous fellows would do. They lack faith and without faith they cannot have the brilliant and fun order that we in Alpha Complex enjoy.
