You mean totally awesome. Unless you're not referring to the one that has the bully-man in an assembly, get selected by the female alien teacher, put into a magic smart machine and getting addicted to said machine and then helping the other kids, because no -, that one was just good.

Anyway, when I was in school, it was right around the time of the revival of The Boxcar Children, a few years behind The Babysitter's Club. So my sister, who was a few years older than me, was collecting The Babysitter's Club, while I was getting The Boxcar Children. Then there was Goosebumps a year after The Boxcar Children revival. Which was awesome.

Huh, you know, the supernatural stuff started in children's stuff a year (Goosebumps) or two (Are You Afraid of the Dark?) before The X-Files came on the air. Cool! We were ahead of the curve.

Yeah, you guys have named basically all my old timey memories. Bunnicula, Bailey School Kids, Animorphs (oh man I was so obsessed with that one), Redwall, The Boxcar Children... Classic action.

I'm slightly ashamed to admit to Baby Sitter Little Sister. It was laaaame, but man I liked it. Also, Choose Your Own Adventure classics were awesome. I'd do the same one like twenty times.

Don't forget Nancy Drew! And did anyone else read Encyclopedia Brown?

I didn't start Redwall until I was a senior in high school. I only read Ender's Game last year. When I was a kid, I was reading Boxcar, Goosebumps, Babysitters Club, and the Pick Your Own Adventure series. I think I read some Animorphs but I can't really remember.

I remember obsessing over the Hank the Cowdog series back when I was a wee lad. Read every single book I got my hands on.

I had this love of some of the Odyssey Books (Gabbage Cup stands out the most in memory) and almost anything from Piers Anthony caught my interest. Castle Roogna was pretty awesome.

Dragonriders of Pern/Anne McCaffrey had some great memories attached to it, too. Jaxom and Ruth totally rocked.

The Dealing With Dragons series is pretty fantastic, too.
