A friend of mine asked me to draw a rabid butterfly and so I was like ok.

One more thing, I haven't the slightest idea why the wings have whiskers. Just seemed cool at the time...

TDK - Nice. I rather like the sword. I usually have trouble trying to get a sword looking right whenever I draw them.

Savage Thinking - Hah nice butterfly. It made me laugh. And hey, the whiskers look good.

Drew Celes. I always see pictures of Celes looking all serene and pretty. It makes me want to draw pictures of Celes burning down a village.

I'm trying to get back into the habit of drawing. Here are some pictures of Eternal Darkness. There will be many more.

EDIT: There are supposed to be two images here. If it doesn't clear itself out, I'll reupload the second one later.

Being busy sucks. At least when it's on unfun things... ;_;

Thought I'd say hi with a warm-up sketch from tonight though. 'Cause he's all lips. o__o

If it's not fun, just picture him comically coughing up phlegm 20 seconds later.

TDK, I think I can tell you how to make your lines better. You seem to be drawing them all at once right now. With how human hands work, this usually leads to lines becoming squiggled. Try sketching out your lines in short, light strokes. They'll come out more the shape you want them. If they look too sketchy, you can carefully erase the bits coming off either side. Then if you need them darker, you can always go over them.

Funny, most people I know who draw will do a long line as several short ones all together. I tend to do fewer, longer lines, sometimes just drawing the whole line in one light stroke, several times in a row over itself. Not sure if one way's better than the other, but both seem to involve erasing to refine the final line.

Well, I've been working more on my Orbs avatar sketch. Unfortunately, my scanner deserves a hammer through it, sideways (damn "photo fixing" :shifty: ), and ate half my lines. So this is my picture as sanitized so as to be visible in Paint.NET.

I know it's light, but this is all I could do to salvage.

Side note: For the record, I have heard art professors advocating NOT doing this more than saying that you should. (in fact, one would walk around making sure that you aren't). It doesn't necessarily make it BETTER, just less noticeable that you're lineart is off. But that's just what I've been taught(and I don't even necesarilly follow it all of the time), do whatever you think looks best.

Now onto short comments, for it is 7:30 am and I just got off of work, and I am sleepy.

Phil- Very nice. They made me laugh, especially the second one. I've never played/seen Eternal Darkness, but still funny.

Savage Thinking - Very nice, I really like his pinstriped shirt.

Celes - Smexy! Really like his hair.

Bluestarultor - Nice, I rather like the orbs around him.

Doc Ock - Nice, I like his attitude.

I drew some Avatar. It's not done yet. Don't look at Toph, she looks stupid. She'll look way different when I finish linearting her. Also my lineart gets thinner as I go down the page. Crap!
