3 days into the game and I still haven't made it to my first boss (I've gotten past Guts man though!).

I'm just stuck on the mother brain right now.
Coincidentally, I'm less worried about how arduous this game is, and more worried about how it's training me to get past these hard parts. At first, everything was hard, but now, except for deaths by mistaking a jump or something, it's practically seemless. |

I actually just screamed out "Why did the blocks go backwards?!" at the second screen going down, waking up my roommate and a nearby dog.
This game is fun.

(hint: you must space jump for great victory!)  I have a bad feeling about this.  While the lasers are dangerous, those little rings are worse. They're semi-homing, y'know. Expect to be saying things like "OH GOD THE DOUGHNUTS! The spaghetti-O's! The red rings of death! The cheerios of doom and blood!" Amazingly enough, touching the forcefields won't kill you.  It's Mother Brain!  HATE YOU MOTHER BRAIN!  Hah, your jar is cracked! Your ass is mine! ... Next update!

Playing the game on medium I see?
I'm playing on Hard.... I went the left side route first and I'm totally stuck in the Tetris section. I can position myself to be as high as possible at the end but I can't make the double-jump onto that contorted L-block jutting up for the life of me.) Also, this is totally having a negative effect on my Mass Effect playing time.
