I've been trying to get through the first one here for two days. One time I actually jumped into the hole without stepping on the switch, but then I jumped a bit too early to get out and stabbed myself with the ceiling.

Picking up from where we left off, we were just outside an entrance for the tower.

They make it so convenient to get into.

Why yes, that spikes does shoot across to kill you.

So all you have to do is time your jump so that the turret will miss you but fall low enough to shoot it, trigger the spike and use your second jump to get out of the way before the spike gets you.

Handy notes for the rest. More falling through a spiked chimney and jumping at the last possible second.

As for the spike with the note about it, you have a nasty tendency of bouncing off the low ceiling and falling onto the spike if you don't jump right.

Falling is hard.

Or is it?

This way does lead to Dracula. CRAP!

I'd wanted to save him for last.

Next update the mysteries of the fan, spin kicking death and Dracula's castle will be revealed.

That thing in the middle is a fan by the way.

You can still save dracula for last. Just drop back into the fan screen once you've gotten past it and you can make it to the other side and take the teleport back

I mean, once you do that you'll end up right back here eventually anyway, so...

Having... idk... maki from Soul Calibur come flying up through the fan doing some kind of insane nunchuck spinning move.

Thank god these kind of things don't happen in video games.

Last update we had some panicking about the the fact this route leads to Dracula's Castle. That place is here:

A switch? WE MUST PRESS IT!

Obviously, you just get blown up into the spikes otherwise.

It's quite a pain getting up there. Jump just a little off and you get spiked. Especially those double spikes on the left. Fortunately. if you get really close to those spikes, you can just jump vertically up and not have to move left while jumping.

With the switch switched off through application of BULLETS, we head back down.

Don't run off the ledges too fast by the the way. It'll make you hit the ceiling spikes. At the bottom, we just cross safely to the other side, right?

IT'S THAT GUY!

He can spin kick so hard it lets him fly (Not to mention reducing The Kid to chunky salsa). How to get him out of the way?

I wonder...

Blown up by the fan, he smashes the roof with hs invulnerable skull!

Then we jump into the fan, taking us to...

Dracula's Castle!

Fortunately, it turns out you can get to the other side of the fan without killing Dracula - you just walk off the right side of the screen here. Let's come back to him later.

Here we are, on the other side of the fan. Also there is a flying medusa head for some reason. I'll say more about them when we do Dracula's Castle.

Two bosses down!

Hmm, that gives me a scary thought.

Mostly because when I downloaded the game, I went up and hit a room I didn't know what to do. I promptly forgot about the game until just now. So now I want to see you do it in still images.
