Yeah, SPR should effect summon or summon should be weakened. Something. Actually, with a little more beef from the 'pray' ability, Summons might not be as big of a threat...

Also, I really want to introduce elementals next game. I'm thinking It can be added on to your stat bonus - Like you can have a -1 or whatever against Fire, but it will give you a +1 dmg against Ice. Then You can assign an element to your summon.

Healing seems kinda bad. I came in here to say that SPR should affect Summon but apparently someone's beat me to it.

I'm basically a black mage with slightly better combat stats and no summon.

I told you so...

But adding in an elemental aspect of the game would be cool! That would also leave room for adding an elemental class that does elemental damage and status effects at the same time. Like a fire whip that does fire damage and confuse or something. ...Just an idea.

Or it could just be like different spells that you learn and you can only pick so many. That way you could customize your own spellcaster to have any theme you want while another one of the same class could be decked out differently. RDMs could do the same with their balance of white and black magic spells. Just a thought.

Yeah, I guess I'm going for a more traditional Final Fantasy system so heavy customization is kind of out. On the other hand, that could be interesting.

I'm going to be away for well over 24 hours today so I might not be able to post until I get back. Secretskull knows what I'm going to do on my turn anyway so if you want to keep things moving I'm ok with him performing my next turn if I'm not back.
