Let us consider Hidamari Sketch. A typical episode consists of the girls doing some normal thing for the first half of the episode, then they talk about it until the end of the episode, and then there's Yuno's final thoughts. x365 mixed it up a little, but the formula stands. The main appeal of the show is that the girls are cute. It is, by any objective standard, awful.
I love it. By the way, this post is sort of off topic, as I feel no shame about Hidamari Sketch.

I've got such a large mountain of shame, I don't where to start...
I liked the cartoon Jem when it was on in the 1980's and My little pony. To boot I like Ouran high school host club. I won't mind if you decide to laugh...
