I like 8-Bit, but I have about half a dozen other web comics I read in my spare time, and he's going to start a new one that I think will probably be better than this one as soon as 8-Bit ends, so it doesn't bother me. Plus, Warbot isn't so much a sci-fi thing so much as a robot who works in an office, despite clearly not being built for it, and it's normal. Or so I gather.

I think that has a lot more potential than 8-Bit ever did. Not because 8-Bit isn't good, but I feel that Brian will generally have a lot of new ideas that he can do with it, since they aren't established characters, plus it'll be new, and new and fresh sounds kinda nice. It's not that I'm not an 8-Bit fan, you'll find I am always arguing on behalf of the comic, I'm just ready to move on to bigger and better things.

The thing is that I'm not myself that much of robot freak, but the quality which Brian has shown us has make me sure that warbot in accounting will be great. And Brian will be more interested in making comic about that kind of comic where he can get more money. I don't say that money is the factor, but it will engourage Brian to do it, you know.
The only thing which sucks is that I still haven't read Atomic robo (minus that short story in the main site). Darn me.

that's twice now i've heard about this fabled 'next' webcomic... yet i've heard he was ending 8-bit cause it was at it's end and to focus on Warbot and other such projects that can be more lucrative.

Any news on the 'next' webcomic you guys can link me too?

(i'm only here for the 8-bit part of this forum and i think i've read like... two other threads >_>)

You're probably thinking of Atomic Robo, his currently running print comic.

Fighter's going to find a bunch of monsters in the morning that 'ate' everyone. The one that will be wearing Black Mage's hat clearly ate his best friend, so he'll have to kill that one slowly and painfully out of vengeance.
