Well, America has grown tired of the way the two classical parties have run the country for the last century and have now banded together to answer back with a resounding "No, fuck you and the smug stretch-hybrid Hummer jet plane you rode in on"

The Masses have abandoned the political parties en masse, forcing the Democratic and Republican parties to rebuild from scratch. With the chaos in the political arena, the Libertarian party sees it's chance to bring their message of minimalist everything and general gubernational apathy to prominence, while The Illuminati have emerged from the shadows to regain the control they used to exercise over the entire process. Meanwhile, The Media are having a field day with it all.

Of course, what this all means is utter chaos. Exactly the way I like it.

VITAL GAME INFORMATION:
-There will be one public Impeachment per Day. An Impeachment requires a majority vote (>50%). If nobody reaches majority by Deadline, the player who has earned more than 25% of the vote and is closest to majority will be Impeached.
-Each group other than The Masses/Media have the same win condition: When a group becomes the majority of remaining players in the game, they win.
-In order for The Masses/Media to win, the heads of all the other competing groups must be eliminated.
-All members drafted to a party must follow the instructions of the party leader to the letter, and may never do anything to the detriment of their current alignment unless instructed to by their party leader.
-Your alignment will change in this game. A lot, potentially. I'll inform you anytime it does.
-VOTES must be bolded, must be on their own seperate line, and must be preceded by an UNVOTE similarly bolded and seperated if you had previously voted that Day.
-Day will normally last between 3-7 days, Night will normally last between 2-4.

What happens when one cultist gets recruited into another cult? can they reveal who the leader of the other cult is?

Also Cult leaders should be uncultable if they aren't that way already.

More rules I neglected to cover:

-Leaders are uncultable.
-Any player can be culted to any group at any time. When a player's party-alignment switches, they may no longer use any game-relevant information that hasn't been made public knowledge from their previous party-alignment. If Player A was a Democrat and knew Player B was the Dem Leader, then Player A becomes a Replublican, they cannot share or act on the knowledge unless it was already made public in the game thread.
-A leader can re-cult someone if they suspect they have been turned.

Also forgot to mention:

-There are special members of The Masses, called Lobbyists. When they are drafted by a political party, they will grant their party a special ability. If they are taken by another group, their former party will lose that ability.

I don't think cheating will be that big of a problem, because A) it will merely broadcast that person's alignment and the alignments of their people and B) because there is exactly ONE killing role, who has been balanced to prevent this from being a factor.

Last second rule addendum:

-Only Party Leaders may converse outside of thread. Culted party members may not talk to each other, only send messages to the Party Leader as long as they are a member of that party.

This rule is to help reduce the chances of cheating.
