I know that if it were me, I'd definitely go and explore the ruined underground castle, even if my characters were already capable of turning Kefka into a clown-shaped scorch mark on the wall. I just like having seen and done and collected as much as I possibly can in an RPG. So I for one want to do some more explorin'...but if you really, really don't want to I don't want to force you into it.

Now that we're finally getting some input... underground castle seems to be leading in votes. That'll probably be our next destination then!

Kaiser ends with a 7000+ damage dealing ultima though, so even in our current state, we'd be powerless against him. Heres an example of two of the dragons in the dragons den: Normal Red Dragon: Kill and go home. Dragon's Den Red Dragon: Invincible. Survive its attacks for a certain number of turns and it dies on its own. Normal Ice Dragon: A failure with frost spells. Dragon's Den Ice Dragon: More powerful... also you'll fight like... 6 of them.

So it's nicer place than I thought (it will be awesome place because of dragons! Dragons! Yay!). That life 3 spell will be nice there I see.
Doomgaze swallowed godking of dragons. Kaiser dragon swallowed demon from FFVIII. Hmm. Conspiracy theory! To the Batcave! But hey Kerensky, why aren't you there already? |

Lets see if I can recall them all.
Ice Dragon: Multiple Copies in a single fight Red Dragon: Survive its attacks for however many turns Black Dragon: Drain its mana (this fight SUCKS so hard) Bronze Dragon: Immune to all magic. Even ultima. White Dragon: Has an insanely mean collection of holy spells Those are the only ones I can recall. I'm missing Wind Dragon, Earth Dragon, and Blue Dragon. Anyways, the dungeon is a horrible place. It really is. But inside the dungeon you'll find an ultimate piece of equipment for every character. In all honestly Ragnarok/Lightbringer are better than the weapons, but they are still nice to round out your characters.

First finish the normal sidequests dude, don't give up!
1. Underground castle 2. Kill Hidon (its not like its hard) 3. Take Edgar and Sabin to Figaro Castle for some remebering. 4. Get Yo... oh... sorry. 5. Kill Phunbaba good. 6. Pass the magic tower. 7. Kill all the dragons (without killing Kefka). 8. P00n the dragon's den.

The ayes have it, then.
And by "ayes" I mean people voting for the underground castle thing. Starting it now. EDIT: Chapter 41! You know, a couple of things have been bothering me lately. One is random encounters. The other is what that thief said back at the Fanatics' Tower. He said that he'd give me a tip on some treasure or something if I paid him a ludicrous sum. It's your lucky day, Thiefie. I've just made about 500,000 fighting Cactuars. An ancient castle beneath Figaro desert? Oh, if only there was some way to dig under Figaro! Next stop, Figaro Castle. My, it's getting cOLD in here. Alright, let's get this treasure hunt DONE. Yours is the drill that pierces the desert, engineer. Godspeed. Bitch: "Stratum? I don't even know 'im! Amirite?" *crickets* Well, that's one way to break an awkward silence. Let's investigate this.... rough stratum. This hole in the jail cell has gotten a lot of use. I'm also curious as to how they can keep it there when the castle digs through the ground. I mean, it just so happens to open into a massive cave right here. The cave itself is fairly full of treasure. But it's not important. Because hidden deep in the cave... ...we find Hyrule Castle itself. A long time ago... ...it was involved in a war. People died and stuff. Yikes, it sucks for them that you can only summon espers once per battle. I guess they'll find out soon enough. Oh snap. Well, I guess that was a useful single-summon. Now Odin is powerless against the random ghost, though. Kan-CHO!! "...Especially not like THAT." Interesting story, but that's not why we're here. THIS is why we're here. This is one of the rare cases where there is actually a boss hidden inside of a treasure box. Of course, I use the term "boss" lightly because he has what you might call a small thermal exhaust port. And by "small thermal exhaust port" I mean weakness to Confusion and his own instant-death attack. An easy battle for one of the best relics in the game. I'll just leave this with Bitch for now. ...While we're here... Free magicite! Oh, and there's a bookcase nearby too. It has the Queen's diary in it, and it just so happens that she was cheating on the King. With, umm, Odin. Which explains the massive (hidden) staircase in her room. One would assume that she and Odin would go down there and he would demonstrate the power of his Zantetsuken, etc. But now, there be only dragons. This was an easy fight because I had Bitch hitting with Blood Sword 4 times and Ultima Weapon 4 times. Bitch is now pretty much immortal. Of course, Lightbringer seems to do a bit more damage than Ultima Weapon now, so I'll probably switch the Master Scroll at some point. ... Okay, maybe there aren't only dragons. I'm not sure how they managed to get at the queen all the way down here, though. Because it's a secret room, you see. Also it's a little creepy how she looks IDENTICAL to Store when she was in the opera way back when. It's condensation. Well, that's dandy. I liked Odin better, honestly. May as well head back to the airship now. We've got some more unfinished business to take care of. What, do you need another stand-in for a play? Because it worked out pretty well last time. Well, that must be QUITE disruptive. Only one thing left to do... I should really have gotten paid for this, but I guess I'm benefiting anyway. I also killed a Storm Dragon. It took 2 attacks. My work here is almost done, then! And one closing thing... Not that avoiding all random encounters isn't great, but I miss having a character who can cast a few spells. Also, I picked up a Zantetsuken sword somewhere along the line... and it's just funny having some poor sod standing by with his dinky little Cursed Shield that will kill him in 59 seconds. Where to next? (And to the person who keeps telling me to kill "Phunbaba", 1) his name is Humbaba now and 2) I killed him like 10 chapters ago STOP TELLING ME TO KILL HIM)
