Oh god, someone made a Sword of Truth live action?
Why does God hate us?
I watched this while at the bar due to no economy causing no customers and GOD is it awful, just like the books.

Personally, I did not enjoy the books. While all books are certainly influenced by the author's philosophy, the Sword of Truth was like a sledgehammer to the head. Repeated every several chapters.
He comes across pretty heavy sometimes, what I'm saying. |

You forgot to mention when Richard becomes Sarda, because I'm sure that's on it's way in the next book, Richard is Totally Not Terry Goodkind.
Yeah I caught this. It was like watching Xena or Hercules: The Legendary Journeys except even stupider writing and much less fun.

FRONT KICK OF DOOM!

He was doing well in the first and second book...
But when he got to Blood of the Fold, it ALLLLLL went to crap. After the Jagang thing got so overloaded in book 6, I didn't even finish the series. Watching the TV show is one of those times you just go "why bother?" There's a few main differences in that they're expanding on the side adventures of Richard Cypher before he's Lord Rahl, but there's nothing tying the story down right now. Maybe some small Big Bads but still... |
