Should I watch Stargate Universe?

How is this? I've been thinking about picking it up but I might not if it sucks. Which I think it probably will, as I heard they were trying to get teens to relate to it by giving it a younger cast and also get old-school Stargate fans to like it. Those kinds of things usually end wrong, and I don't want to waste my time.

So, anyone seeing this that can tell me how it is?

All I can say is that I've enjoyed it thus far. You shouldn't expect a new SG-1 or anything like that however.

Well I've watched it up to the latest episodes with out giving muchspoilers I'm not a huge fan I'll still watch it in lue of anything better to do but it's not amazing to my eyes. Some of the cast I find to be very agravating. Meh I don't really like the whole enemy within angle.

I'd say it concentrates more on the inner drama of the group and surviving than anything else. Atleast for now. The first season isn't even through yet, so it's hard to give a conclusive grade or anything.

Has anything good happened since Rush got booted off the boat? I hadn't had a chance to watch much after that. The show definitely has potential, it is kinda like Battlestar Galactica to me, which I wasn't a big fan of. But yea, not much like SG-1.

That was the first half of the season finale, so absolutely nothing has happened. The new episodes pick up in April.

Yeah, they really tried to be like Battlestar Galactica. It's good, but not what I'm really looking for in a Stargate, It's missing the humor for the most part.

All in all, I'll continue watching.

I've quite enjoyed it so far. Yeah it's missing the humour which is really what makes Stargate Stargate but apart from that it's not bad. It's... different, but not as bad as that may sound.

I can safely say though, as a long term fan who owns EVERY Stargate episode and movie, that I'm gonna keep watching.
