See, that makes too much sense though. I'm hoping for something a little more climactic than a life-goes-on ending. And does anyone else get the feeling that this whole "Fighter will save the world with his stupidity" has been a massive red herring?

Well, any plan that the light warriors came up with was going to fail anyway because regardless of whether the plan is good in theory or not, the light warriors are eternally incompetent in execution.

Still, I'm confused why Thief and RM are talking Fighter away. I thought using Fighter to confuse and stupefy Chaoes was the plan.

They should have left Fighter there as Chaos would soon realize that his intentions are pointless, he was already struggling with the scary part, I don't know why they should stop then.
