So yeah, we have some pretty great tech out there these days, like this thing:

I mean, sure, some of it is kind of useless - when will we ever need fancy chairs or something?

But there are other things that do have applications in todays hectic, fast-paced consumerist society:

I guess this is a technology appreciation thread, but are we headed in the right direction? How much can we have of something before we have too much of a good thing?
