Ok, so that was a fake spoiler. And conisidering how much worse it could have been, I'm actually ok with this chapter. I mean it may just be me, but that felt like that plan (and I'm assuming that was all a big plan) made sense. I will doubtless be proven wrong next chapter. Or maybe it's actually Azsien finally using his brain, activating his hypnosis god powers and just running away to recover. That'd be annoying.

And Uarahara saves the day, by sealing up Aizen forever. And it turns out that the Soul King is just an object (or it might actually be a being) that literally hold SS together. If he/it was struck down, it would be the end of the world as we know it.
Not the best but still a well welcomed ending to the "Aizen be god" arc.

I'm just straining for some branches here, but considering Aizen is sealed, not dead, he may actually come back for last storyline shenanigans.
