Really, I don't think that constantly insulting the kid (no matter how misguided his views may be) is going to make him suddenly open his eyes. Hell, if I was in his position, it'd only reinforce my negative views. But hey, what's the point in trying to be reasonable? Gay or straight, oppressed or free, it's an inevitability that haters gonna hate.
