Hey, it means that Chad will have someone he can actually beat up!

That or at some point in the future a new big bad shows up and they release Aizen to help fight him, inevitably leading to him and Ichigo becoming friend/rivals, the Vegeta to Ichigo's Goku (Byakuya and Grimmjow are Piccolo they'll stay useful for a little while, Kenpachi is Tien, everyone else is Yamcha, Bulma or Krillin), but with infinitely more gay undertones.

Hell that lonely sword line already sets it all up.

Hey that was a compliment, Tien stayed pretty badass long after he as outclassed. Did better against Buu than Picollo and Vegeta did (well in Vegeta's case at least initially).

But I'm seriously expecting this to become the Ichigo and Aizen show at some point now. Hopefully far down the tracks.

Tien also seriously delayed Cell for awhile if I remembering right and at that point Cell was already strong enough to beat the Androids in a single attack and the Androids where strong enough to beat Tien in a single attack. So that is some serious badassery.

Wouldn't Kenpachi been more along the lines of a Trunks/Goten? or he could become Gohan and actually kick ass instead of being a whiny baby. Bleach will then be the Kenpachi show!

I am sad now. No closure on HALF of the dangling plot threads, Ichigo is normal again (what a reversal, seriously, EVERYONE ELSE still has their power, and he can't even SEE spirit beings anymore, much less sense them. Kubo better have him back up to maximum bad-assitude or I may just have to find another manga to read... despite the fact that I've looked and nothing else gives what Bleach does, even if the delivery is somewhat lacking) and Aizen is as smug a bastard as ever. I half expected Captain Grandpa to mention something about honor (regarding the haori) unless there's something else about them that he'd never explained (they don't appear to have any affect on a shinigami's fighting ability, perhaps it has something to do with authority and ability to access certain areas of Seireitei? Iunno.) Oh well, guess Kubo's got two weeks to come up with something.

no he still could, remember he fought some hollows right before his dad took him on his "get back your powers" training

Because he'd had the foresight to prepare magic items beforehand that could function even after his own powers were burned out. Those were a limited resource; he couldn't be a combatant forever, not without getting his powers restored.

But yes, he could still see Hollows, that's true.
