"Okay, I should still be able to do more troll drawings if I just keep the art style super-simple like the first batch and not get too caught up in details or shading or--"

Dammit.

The sad part is this drawing actually took me less time to do than the incredibly simple one I did of Ballaa, Zeb and Srynxa.

I think it's a matter of just getting used to the style. This thing took me less than an hour from start to finish, whereas the previous one I tried took about two hours, not counting sketching it on paper, drawing the sprite and writing the character.

There's a chat? When I connected to the piratepad thing, it was just a document. There weren't any controls for colors or formatting (unless I just didn't notice them), it was just like a notepad document.

Of course, it was 2 am so it's entirely possible I just didn't notice it, but....
