Ichigo is somehow going to get his powers back and have a billion-chapter arc where he rescues his sister from Hell.
I would bet a lot of money on that being what's going to happen.

Today's chapter was a tie in for the Movie...

So it's semi cannon...

Next weeks chapter will pick up where last weeks left off.

EDIT: so we still got a regular chapter this week.

Sounds like Karin's going to be the new sub. Urahara might actually be a villain (for some that's the most awesome news ever for Bleach). And Ichigo's going to have a nice/aggressive chat with him about possibly being the bad guy/shady about something he should know.

And Goujou has friends it seems.

well of course you didn't expect there only to be one or two new characters did you? This is bleach. We got a 10 new character minimum for arcs

My money has just done some questionable things then being out and out bad guy. Already got the whole "pretend to be good" thing from aizen, and I dont think he'd repeat himself like that

Did... Did anyone actually doubt that this was going to happen? Ever? It's been established since long before he lost his powers that he'd be able to get them back, because his father did. It's been implied that he'd be able to get them back faster and stronger than his father did by virtue of the fact that he's Ichigo and anything anyone in Bleach can do he can inevitably do better. Even if Ichigo's sister gets powers and turns out to be a little prodigy, he will still be Goku, and nothing will ever change that. Ichigo losing his powers is the equivalent of Goku dying.

Are we supposed to take the guy saying "Urahara's totally a bad dude" seriously? He's been a protagonist since he was introduced. Even his cruel training was necessary to get Ichigo's powers back the first time he lost them. Was there something in Turn Back the Pendulum or whatever those chapters were called that might support him ever being more than sorta creepy?

Keep in mind that I kinda skipped from Ichigo training to be a Vizard up to "Who said the Espadas go from one to ten?" so I could have missed something that makes this more than a laughably obvious "bad-guy makes the good-guys not trust eachother" plot. I don't even want to consider the alternative.

From the sounds of it he's trying to spin the whole "Urahara wants to make Karin the next Gohan" bit so that it'll sound like a bad thing to Ichigo.

Well, at the very least as far as Shonen Manga goes this is, in the very least, a honest point to spin upon.

I mean, how much do we REALLY know about Urahara? How much of what he did went just juxtaposed to what Aizen wanted? There really are quite a few questions with open meaning around him...

I mena, he did create wanted to find a way to break the barrier between Shinigami and Hollow, and he was fully aware that Aizen wanted something around that as well, and yet, he still kept Ichigo on that track...

Also Aizen's own past is quite distorted and the point where him and Urahara actually get to know each other is blurry at best.

So, i'm not saying Urahara is a Fiend or the Real Bad Guy... but it wouldn't be an absurd twist if he had less than noble intents.

But, yeah. Karin = Gohan. I can totally see that.
