Drew something during class. Then ran it through Paint.Net to get rid of the rest of the page. May try and go over with with computer arts to make it look better. I wish I could replicate on computer what I can do on paper, not that my paper skills are particularly amazing.

Nope, just me trying to make a character with an afro in NES detail. Strongly considering going with a paper cutout look for this game after how well this pic turned out.

EDIT: Redrew it then colored it on the computer.

And now I'm trying to draw the character from the side.

I call this piece The Consequences of Conscience, and it was certainly not inspired by my recent re-read of Order of the Stick.

It most certainly was.

Noncon- Those look pretty good! To nitpick, I would try and make sure it looks like his feet are standing on some kind of ground plane, but I imagine the sketches are more just to do some concept work.

IQ- For some reason it kind of freaks me out. I'm not sure why!

I've drawn some things in my increasing amounts of free time as I get my final projects done:

Giant damn torso.

Naked people. (Pose sketches)

My friend wanted me to draw her some Homestuck.

A sneak peek at my concept work! Which I'm not going to post all of (or even the finished version). Not yet anyway.

I'm liking the feel of the concept work. I can't put my finger on it, but something about the angle and the tall buildings, I think.

Edit: Maybe, partially, it's that it doesn't -quite- line up with how perspective seems like it ought to? The buildings look like they're drawn more from the perspective of the guy sitting there, instead of the camera, which is neat.

Double edit: Also, Nepeta is adorable.

CJ: My hypothesis is that the word "anymore" adds an implicit layer of looming ominousity to any given statement. See:

She doesn't collect Pokemon anymore.
Internet soon won't be free anymore.

Of course Poe figured out something similar like 200 years ago. . .

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
