- Shevenston's funeral event. Natalya is introduced.
- Whitney is having strange thoughts about Renny. Muon talks to her about 'em.
- Jeanette meets Bretton again. There is some story between the bad boy and the nerd hotness.
- Elizabeth Irons and Violet join PATCA.
- Renny and Lola decide to live together and go apartment hunting, but they aren't very lucky in their quest. *event in progress...*
- All of the Kimonos arrive at PATCA headquarters. They've got bad news from the north.
- Irene, Sakuya, Jeanette, and Killian (President Andricksen's son) meet for a classified discussion about numerous different events ranging from the Prideguard to Pokegeddon to Black Cradle to Adonova to Nosferatu to Ruin Pokemon.
- Renny does a little sparring and takes a lotta scarring.
- Pierce's birthday party! Woooooooo!
- Irene calls in the Watchmen PCs to discuss the new battle system (expect the 4th wall to be ignored somewhat).
- Irene calls in Charlotte to discuss a rather bizarre matter (it's not bad, not like Charlotte would care anyways).
- Irene introduced Impact to Eldys and offers him a deal that he would have to think twice about refusing.
- It's off to the beach!

I think Catherine's new name is an improvement over the unusual names. I know she was a prostitute before she was taken off the street and married, but I'd doubt anyone sane would have given a name like Zis or Ciz at birth.


Guys, a question to ask since AB and I were thinking about it.

How do you guys feel about removing the morale system? AB suggested it since he was tired of keeping track of it, and I don't mind because several times of the time we're either facing bosses who are immune to it, constructs who are immune, and I think it only really became useful once or twice. There isn't a specific rule for how it strictly works either.

Ultimately, it's up to AB, but since he asked for my input, I figured I'd ask for everyone else's too. It'll be less things to keep track of really.

EDIT: I'd be interested in finding out what happened to Violet and Whitney. Violet was tagging along with Pierce and Jeanette, and now she's not mentioned at all, not even to join PATCA like Liz did. Whitney's presence is also kinda missing which is odd since Faynoc's demise should be a fairly big thing for her.

Also we need to find time to finish off the rules before we get to Irene introducing them.

Well, the morale system, provided we can tweak it properly, would work to encourage a different strategy than what we usually do.

I mean, normally we're just killing shit and piling on multipliers and damage. But with morale to worry about, that would encourage us to fight more defensively, to keep morale from dropping and to avoid the detriments of low morale and Overwhelming Tide.

Of course, we don't necessarily need the morale system to make us employ different tactics. We could face enemies and bosses who forced us to take different approaches and try to setup formations that cover most of our bases.

But, it'd be up to AB to come up with those enemies, which would extend his workload further. Unless he wants to take input from the players.

Natalya Baskinova will show up later at the funeral. Actually, I'll have 'er sit in at that classified meeting and stick around to chatter with Pierce if you want them to encounter each other. I figure you would for character building and whatnot. But I don't think I'll keep her around after that. Gotta save some people for the sequel, y'know.

The reason for removing the morale system is to simplify the whole battle system in general. As we all know, I've gone apeshit over this whole thing and I really need to do some stuff to streamline it so it's easier to post. Otherwise, I end up making six hour posts because I'm trying to factor in so many things at once.

To cover for it, you will indeed be fighting enemies that require different strategies, especially bosses.

As for Whitney and Violet, I'll try to handle shit on my end. I'll handle Whitney using Muon and Violet using Elizabeth and Irene.

Schedule: Shevenston's Funeral, the New Regional Chief is Sworn In, Whitney Dreams of Renny, Elizabeth and Violet Join the Shenanigans, Impact Meets Eldys, and The Kimonos Join PATCA (doesn't come with Dinner) are added to the schedule of events.

Given that we have now have a grand total of sixteen delightful text heavy events, I'll try to get posts done in a "four events per day" kind of thing, with the last four not happening until the rule book is finalized, which won't take long.
