Nice style. Reminds me of Roger from the original Disney 101 Dalmatians movie.

Animu as it is, I really like Fred's face. I think his hips may be too wide, though. Hard to tell with the jacket dot dot dot.

Great job capturing the essence of the poop.

Kyanbu, it's interesting to see you drawing dudes more often.

And the lineart just for fun.

So there I was, annoyed after seeing like a hundred pieces of fanart with characters with perfect hair and those unlikely jrpg outfits unruffled through the most unlikely of activities. I thought, why doesn't anyone take advantage of the freeform sort of drawing the games can't, and show what happens when you spend months walking on roads and off?

I think this is missing something though. Was trying to find a balance between "worn" and "degrading amounts of dirt, sweat and tattered clothes" and probably didn't go far enough. Not sure what to do.

Speaking of FF6 fanart, can I observe that's an amazing picture, CJ. Just the kind of between-the-lines story that's so easy to picture in this game, except you went through the trouble of drawing it. Everything in the picture begs to be explored further. I want to know the story behind the card game, the painting, the piles of crap on the floor, the book, the look on Celes' face. Is Relm hanging around Edgar on purpose? Is Gau watching everything, and Gogo watching Gau and everything? I'm not saying it's Mona Lisa, but it raises some questions.

And now something completely different.

My little brother and I went on a spontaneous finger painting trip when a ballpoint pen broke. He drew this waterfall which I thought was really good.

Just out of curiosity, what did you use to make your first drawing?

If those aren't just hypothetical questions I'll fill in what narrative was going on in my head while I was doing it:

Card game- Basically the heroes have to relax sometime when they're travelling from one destination to the other. Celes is reading, Relm is painting, Gau is... being Gau, Edgar and Locke borrowed some of Setzers cards for a friendly game, but Locke is cheating (there's, like, 3 aces of spades in the picture). Celes is smirking SILLY ANTICS and she doesn't think anyone is paying attention to her.
The Painting- In my mind it's supposed to be an oil painting of Daryl (Paint me like one of your french girls!), buried with the Falcon when Daryl died, it's all worn. Setzer would totally hang up naked pictures of his dead girlfriend. Anyway, the style of FF6 is similar to renaissance art (at least to me it seems like that) so it makes sense if the paintings were renaissance-y (I referenced one in particular for the painting actually haha. Though the couch is inspired from Victorian styles so...) The blanket in the painting and the one Celes is sitting on might be related (probably not)
Piles of crap- They're not the neatest bunch, and there's 14 people living in a small space. Honestly it should be MORE cluttered. The maps were in the middle of the room for planning purposes but they got swept off to the side for the card game.
Other things- Relm is totally painting Ultros. The bottle next to her is full of turpentine (for cleaning brushes) It's way too small to be seen/detailed but Edgar's father's face is on the King of Hearts card and his mother is on the Queen of Hearts.

NOW ALL THE MYSTERY IS RUINED

Oh yeah, and the picture has about 70 photoshop layers, which is quite a bit more than I normally use.
