So, uh...
That new phoenix hatchling is never going to know his parents? Yeah, it's an interesting parallel with Spike, but it's still kind of a dark implication.

That was an awesome episode. Spike is slowly becoming one of my favourite characters.
Also nice to see the Spike X Rarity undertones played even more. The little guy deserves some love. |

Andrew Hussie and the MLP: FiM writers seem to share that skill of walking that fine line to please everyone.
