I mean he's going to lose because if he didn't the arc would be over. Personally I'm hoping he manages to still injure him cause at 100% it would take another deus ex machina for Ichigo to win.

Also nice that it wasn't BS and it was true that Captain Commander couldn't use his bankai against Aizen.

So, based on the line at the end of the chapter it looks like Juha Bach sent out a subordinate who could mimic his powers enough to fool Yamamoto, and trick him into using his Bankai so that they will know enough about it so that they can steal it.

Also, in case anyone is wondering what the hell Zanka no Tachi North is (since the font in the translation I read was ridiculously hard to read, and took me a while to decipher it), it's Heaven and Earth to Ashes and Nothingness

That's not that much of a stretch. A kinda cleaver yet over used tactic. Still it explains why things aren't ending just yet for the current big bad.

I'm now wondering if this means that Shunsui's bankai is also very hard to steal as one of his shikai was calvinball already.

Now is it going to be because his Mom was a Quincy, or some other stupid reason? Regardless: uuugggghhhhh. Of all the ways this could have gone, they just had to give Ichigo Quincy powers.

someone did point out that if his mom was a quincy that would explain his father leaving soul society. Forbidden love and all that. Still annoying seeing this "twist" again though

I love how this thread has become like a giant game of chicken. It's like everyone is so ashamed to be still reading Bleach in its decline they don't want to admit to it by posting about it. Rather they are afraid of being the first one to post because they don't want to be the only one to post and confirm they are the last person reading Bleach. So we all just sit around thinking about it until someone takes the plunge and just does it.
