I Don't Know What They're Saying, But I Like It!
So the lot of you will be dealing right now with hangovers and sugar crashes. It was a good night, wasn't it?
But here's my thing; I like going to the thrift shops and looking through the CD's and movies. I find a lot of old music like Smash Mouth, Our Lady Peace and the Smashing Pumpkins. Sometimes, you can find something really good, too. Recently, I've picked up a German CD by this lady named 'Juli.' I don't know what they're saying, but I like it! I like Gregorian chant, even though I cannae understand it. I like Spanish singers, like Juanes, even though I can't understand him. I have no idea why. Someone should look into that. Probably something to do with tone and rythm rather than fthe actual lyrics. Makes the case for why I like club music some days and gospel choirs on others. BUT! You should list your favorite foreign singers! (Odds are we'll get a lot of anime and Japanese music, but whatevs.) So sock it to me. I understand that a lot of you people aren't actually from English speaking places, so the whole 'foreign' thing will be weirde since you're from weird countries that are weird, but it's fine. It's fine. |
