I wish I could read Japanese. But anyway, they all look younger, especially Aramaki. Can't wait to see what they do with the characters!

Yeah this doesn't look like a sequel to SAC, must be an interquel or prequel or some such thing.

EDIT: BTW is this a series or a movie? It says Theater over there on the side and has a theater list once you open it. It might be another movie.

Well, it's certainly not in continuity with the other movies, that's for certain.

Might be based on the original manga, which had much more sex and guns, and less philosophy.

Also, watched a Speed Run of the Ghost in the Shell PS2 game, and it actually looked pretty decent, though maybe because the guy skipped through any bad parts?

Also looking forward to seeing what the Nexon Game will be like, though I worry it will just be a GiTS themed version of Blacklight:Ret, or that one Half Life 2 Mod NeoTokyo.

four, 50-minute parts in theatres

The initial one may be played alongside the movies in a kind of bigger event.

It's prequel-ish, showing events in an earlier point in time. I am not 100% certain if this means it will be explicitly tied to existing GitS movies or the series, though.

I don't even care, I'm just excited to have more GitS to watch.

I own the SAC video game for PS2; it's a generic platformer/shooter but still pretty fun actually. It plays like watching one of the series and the story is pretty well written.
