Pretty sure I sent you an invite as soon as I accepted your friend request on Warframe. Just make sure you check the clan tab in the social thing. It's the little circle wheelmabob.

So, "Super Sentai Tenno Gaiden" isn't the clan's name? I guess it's that invite from Lords Of Fried I got some time ago :V

That is, if you haven't cancelled already. If you have here's hoping that the bug didn't strike. |

So there's an event that's going on right now through monday, all grineer missions will randomly spawn floating harmless drones that you're encouraged to kill. Idea is that if the overall quota of whatever-million it is is completed before the event ends then rewards are given out based on kills. 20+ gives you the Snipetron Vandal (I assume a modified version of the sniper rifle they pulled from the game), then the top 100 kill counts are awarded a stupidly good-sounding mod that boosts the damage of the first shot in each clip, and then the top clans from 4 predetermined tiers get a Grineer Drone statue for their dojo once Update 9 goes through (the top 5 for the 11-100 member bracket, which is probably the most common guild size so I really don't think we're gonna outdo the 10 hardcore grinding clans). I really don't think it'd be worth trying to win whatever tier our clan is in, but getting 20 drone kills and calling it good is fine.
There are problems though: 1. The drones vanish as soon as they take damage, meaning you have to 1-shot them in order to get the kill. Sucks to be you if you have default weapons. 2. Set your sentinels to dumb. The auto-attacking mod for them (the only one that should be in all sentinels) makes them target the drones, which is bad because their weapons are not going to kill them. 3. Kills are not shared. Boot up your solo missions and hope you remember what it's like to get full aggro. 4. This ain't the brilliance of the Fusion Moa event. As the last "murder X of new enemy" event was actually reasonable, as the thing you were supposed to kill was trying to hunt you down and kill you too, having a high global total wasn't a problem. Every drone I've seen always hovers high enough off the ground that you have to be staring upwards, and I've seen an average of 3 drones per mission so far. Seven-digit kill goals for this could be too much, and really rides on how badly the supersized clans wan't that statue. Overall, the event is ok for just being something to shake things up, but it feels like something that divides the WoW-level of dedication players from the casuals and moderates, and also throws more dicks at the clan system by dedicating even more to a generally bad setup while it's still in beta (clan ideas are good, but tying all of the good equipment and benefits to it after everyone in your clan signs over their souls is a bit much). |

They don't shoot the things, they MAY shoot them if the're shooting something and, their line of fire happens to be close to the things.

Also there's no Retaliation-based aggro mod for the Dethcube so I basically have a really expensive emergency shield battery that shoots short-range lasers during this. |

That's odd, I've already gotten my 20 kills and, my cube never shot those things. Not even the short range laser that kills things fast..I was jumping to try that one

Al you are drunk because multiple sources on reddit and the official forum say Sentinels do not attack the drones. They might use abilities, but they won't target with bullets. Though Sentinel shots can hit the drone if the drone is in the crossfire, it just won't target the drone itself.
Also, the drones apparently only spawn in Level 15+ areas. Also, you will know one is nearby when your minimap becomes scrambled. The drones also have 99 shields and 1 hp, so you need to do 100 damage in one shot to kill them. Which still is shitty if you have the starter weapons, or only automatic stuff. I ran through E-Prime on Earth solo and I got 20 drones rather quickly. I was using my Paris to guarantee the one-shot kill though. Just make sure you let the Grineer trigger the alarm, and always be killing things so enemies are spawning in, since the drones need to spawn in like a regular enemy.
