So we did some AC, had a laugh about nerfs, got angry at troll then I somehow managed to kill it while everyone else was dead and I was downed and then we had more laughs about nerfs and pulled some crazy strategies.

It was pretty good.

I also figured out why I was thinking story mode AC was hard: When I first did it everyone was 35~45.

Level 80, all traits, and exotic gear -- or I guess rare, at least -- certainly helps.

I continue to just shake my head and feel bad for people whenever I see threads about how they can't complete a personal story mission. Sure, I have had a few deaths when I went through missions the first time, but wow. I didn't think this game's combat was that difficult to figure out.

the whole concept of avoidance and nullification over mitigation is a bizarre deviation from the land of stand in place and...stand in place...

Anyone up for some CM this evening? Rai is trying to get a group together for 9, 9:30 EST. Could do CM Story, TA Story...yeah I am being greedy and wanting to do all the story ones. :>

Also: recurring Fridays/whatev? Maybe we can have a FB group for calendaring?

We got through CM Story with me Cease and Arcanum, then synk showed up for T&A Story. More to come this weekend! I am gonna set up a facebook group with calendar fun, I'll link it later.

As an aside, GW2 was becoming extremely boring for me and it was a pain and a task to log in, but running dungeons is a breath of fresh air. Thanks to everyone who's come :>
