We need a fractal group.

It's finally account-based instead of per-character, and good rewards are possible as low as level 10.

I was last on the 22nd. I decided to wait and see what people were up to for this new update and also decided to play other things/enjoy the holiday. I hadn't seen anyone else on for a while before that, myself.

I stopped playing for a while because, while I nearly have all it takes to craft an ascended weapon, I still need to get to 500 weaponsmithing which means I have to do dungeons nonstop for a ton o' gold.

So yeah, grinding.

That whole ~25 damage more you will do is totally worth the grind, too!

What I am saying is if you stopped playing because you don't want to craft something you don't need I guess there are more things you find wrong with the game beneath that sentiment.

I have ~70% of what I need to craft Bolt, but at this point I'm debating on actually keeping it once I have it or selling it so I can have money to throw at being able to make Ascendeds. The upside to Ascended weapons is you can get the stats you want but as synk noted, it's only an extra 50 power either way.

The WvW Season has been fun, though. That's consumed a lot of my playing time. I've been running the Zerg Soldier Mesmer build.

I saw a commercial on television for GW2 today. That's the first I've seen since the game launched. I'll admit, I watch very little television, so I sure could have missed previous ones. But I can't help but feel that's a sign -- either that the game is doing as well as they wish to claim, making them comfortable in reaching out to a wider audience of potential players, or it's not doing that well and they need to grab some more game purchases.

I still haven't logged in since November. I decided to see if I would be very upset at missing the latest achievement points checklist -- and to spend more time doing real-world things-- and I have to say I am not. If anything, missing out on one set of the Living Story's two-week updates helps motivate me NOT to log in for updates. I also am having fun dumping my free time into STO again and Doto.

I apologize if anyone has been in-game and wanting to play and I have not been around for it. Please feel free to message me, add me on Steam, or whatnot. I still enjoy the game and have not walked away from it!
