New Chapter:

Bach is evil Jesus. The Anti Christ of Bleach (I thought that was Aizen lol), Uryu just drunk blood much to his horror. And This is likely going to lead to Ichigo being the only means of killing Bach. Either by inserting his hollow powers into Bach, or killing himself, causing Bach to absorbed the hallow half when he absorbs ichigo's soul.

My reaction to those first few pages.

"well that was... intense"

It reminds me of why I like his writing. Its not even really that its dark, not really. But it left me uncomfortable, but in a good way. Its like how Dracula once was (before vampires became pop culture). Now he seems so inhuman and unnatural. With motivations that are so alien to us that its hard to really understand them. Its not about hatred or power, to him this is more akin to eating or a job. Its just how he lives.

Two issues with this first, when the hell did the soul reapers get a part of his soul? Or did he just do it remotely or something? The other is now Ichigo isn't the only one with abit of hollow inside him. So isn't this now an eventuality? Heck this is Urahara we are talking about, I dont see anything stopping him from just forcibly injecting hollow into the guy.

this whole thing reminded me of something Aizen Said...

He called the Spirit King a ''thing'' so repulsive he couldn't bear the idea of answering ot it... now, on blunt manga terms, the spirit King is supposed to be akin to the inverse of Spirit Dracula... or at least his opposition in some way.

Kinda makes me wonder what the hell has Kubo planned for the Spirit King...

Also, Shonen Manga Is Much Shonen. Now that the already Super Powered gets more powerful with each person that falls in battle, we can expect battles to make DBZ cringe in the road to the end...

...totally ok with that BTW...

I have a feeling Kubo could write some really good short stories. There are some crazy gems thrown in in his work.

Take a look at Zombie Powder, Kubo only wrote 4 volumes but its amazing. I read it back when we were deep in soul society arc and I still wished Zombie Powder was the one he was continuing instead.

So, that was kinda stupid and kinda cool. I'm not sure Kubo really gets what freezing is, chemically speaking. Also he forgot everyone's dead, again.

At least the effect is interesting, even if it can't possibly work as described.

Its not really the dead thing for me because in Bleach dying is more a transition of states. So its not the terminology itself, its the fact soul society has no freakin chemicals. Objects are made of spirit particles which dont really obey the laws of physics.

And you know, this just kind of lames out Renji again since Rukia not only beat one of these guys alot easier but with a shikai

If you think of ''spirits'' as ''energy'' i can kinda understand how the freezing things work in his head with stopping energy from flowing and such... plus Quincies are not really dead. they living humans.... vampires.... thing...

Also, to anybody who watched or read Saint Seiya... that's pretty much how they handle Absolute Zero there too...
