Google Glass is open to market for one day

So we know google's HMD device is very few in number and not available to the general public. Well on the 15th they are opening sales for a single day. I kind of knee jerked that this was a publicity stunt, but I think its more of a market test to see what kind of demand they'd get from the mainstream.

I do admit, I am tempted to get one.

I was just thinking today, ebay they sell for about what they cost new. That would mean at the cost threshold they set supply meets demand. If they are publicly available all those people will just buy it directly. This will cause the used market to tank and I'm curious how low it will go. Wouldn't surprise me if we see the ones on ebay dipping below 1000

I was going to say something about paying $1500 to look like a complete tool, but I guess people do that all the time.
