Default Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

This game is from last fall but I just got around to playing it now.

Whoa. This game was really good.

Have you guys played it? You control two brothers as they journey through a fantasy landscape to find some kind of panacea to cure their father. The way they designed the controls are really elegant yet simple. You control the older brother with the left stick and left trigger and the younger brother with the right stick and right trigger. They also have strengths and weaknesses (the older brother is taller and stronger, but the younger brother can fit through tight places for instance. There's lots of little things like that). Some interesting sidequests/achievements along the way as well, though some are fairly well hidden.

The design of the visuals is amazing, especially the Troll Cave and the Valley of Giants.

This is one of the most enjoyable games I've played in a long time, it's pretty short but enjoyable for every minute of it. It's the kind of game that makes me want to play through it again, too.

5/5 would play again
