This bugs me a bit -- confusion shouldn't be considered "too effective" if someone attacks rapidly. That's fucking dumb. That said, you can't, like, burn someone more quickly or bleed them more quickly, so in that sense I can see wanting a balance. But that's not how they present it. In any case the proposed solution sounds reasonable to me.

Semi-related: popping necro's SS or mesmer's Empathy on things/people was fun as shit in GW1. I had high hopes for confusion based on that. But that kind of line from the devs shows that they didn't, at least not in the same way. But part of me likes the health drain idea, since it reminds me of other GW1 hexes. And hexes were awesome.

So I finally got full ascended armor on my ele. Although since ascended armor looks like crap, here is what my character actually looks like.

Crafted 5/6 of the pieces. Got the chest piece as a reward for completing the Bio-luminescence collection. My weapon, back piece, and accessories are all ascended as well.

I guess now I just save up things for a legendary weapon?
