More co-poetry! This one is done by DotD and myself. I did the odd lines, he did the even.

The end of days is coming soon...
The end of all draws near
You must prepare, little one,
And pray your life is spared
Darkness comes, engulfing all...
All but that final ray of hope
The only hero, the destined one...
He shall confront it one on one
The darkness reels, shies from him...
His aura shining bright
The end of days is leaving now...
But beware, it may return

And another masterpiece done by Osterbaum and I! First line was his.

I see the army in the distance
I stand my ground, I will not run
I do not fear death, though it will come in an instance
Because my time is not now, I am not done
I fight for what I believe is right
With my beliefs I stand true

What I've lost, what I've gained, it's all the same in the end.
I will not let it all just fade in to the night
No matter what happends, I will keep going...
So come on attack me, bring it all on
I will not falter, I will not fail.

I waited for you.
Finally you came,
For you I’ll be true,
Things won’t be the same.

You are wonderful,
I’ll hold you all night,
You are beautiful,
I’ll hug you so tight.

You are all I want,
You are all I need,
My dreams, you do haunt,
My soul, you do feed,

So hold me tightly,
It is you I miss,
So love me rightly
Only you I’ll kiss.

"Betrayal"

Trapped within a cold embrace,
Touch is frozen, numbing face.
Fickle feelings pull heartstrings,
Icy time picks at my wings.

All against me, try to stop me,
I keep climbing, the top I see.
Almost there, a few more miles,
Then I'll end these hellish trials.

Mountains rumble, rise before me,
Now obey my true authority.
Settle down, cut me some slack,
No need to worry; master's back.

Into my castle I now go,
Where I keep my greatest woe.
The secret of my darkest dreams,
Weary patience pays off, it seems.

Down the hall, turn to my right,
A single door, a shining light.
Another person is now here,
It could be the one that I fear.

I creep and sneak, move in silence,
I hope I don't resort to violence.
The door opens up, and before me she stands,
She smiles at me, through trembling hands.

I voice my relief, happy it's her.
Not some stupid, upcoming young cur.
I turn my back, unconcerned,
The pain shoots out, my life upturned.

I turn around now, see my betrayer,
A single young man, one I used to favor.
I fall to the floor, gasping last breaths...
I'll pay them back soon, even through death...

I saw the words "I am not aware" on the board when I walked into English class and this is the result.

I am not aware
The actions which make life so difficult
The results of my choosing
I listen but I never seem to get it...

I am not aware
Of how to play this game
The rules I cannot discern, invisible
I might as well be stumbling in the dark

I am not aware
Of the things around me
And every move on the chess board
I think I have won, or gotten ahead

I am not aware
Of the things I should
Can I change who I am?
For I still do not understand...

I am not aware
Of anything it seems, what a pity
I want to learn, or do I?
I try...what do I have to show for it?

I am not aware
Of what I could do, and what I shouldn't
I can move forward...But why does it seem
That every step I take moves me back?

the title I can't say, but I wrote this for a friend I barely know. A poem owed and a poem payed I suppose.

not normal, oh I know
behavior unbecoming
unable now to grow
and still I cannot stop

just another weakness
lain across my shoulders
so weighed upon this heart
like jagged crushing boulders

must find a resolution
may try to live a lie
complete or change this notion
but I will not forget

so very necessary
understanding nature
to do this one must use
all that they are catered

she has a way with words
so far beyond mundane
she has a piece of darkness
as beauty in the rain

she's shown weakness openly
yet somehow remained strong
she is so distant from me
in space and circumstance

words of beauty common place
to speak as her, transcendent
pure and biting melancholy
and for that I must thank heaven

all who truly think
think most of who they are
to stare so deeply inward
invites so many scars

demons with your heart
filling their empty bowl
to face a foe so great
will surely mark the soul

the truth of life is passion
to bare your neck and beg for fangs
a weakness far too great
is loss of strength so strange?

all these facets so enticing
and but a single foil
she can never be embraced
while on this mortal coil

I stare at stars so distant
my cries will never reach them
I whisper words defiant
towards a hated fate

thanks for your help, and I hope you enjoy it!

by the way, this was not five minute stuff, I spent all night writing this thing down, I was consumed for a good deal of time. its based off of another, longer, passage. I think I'll post that too.

"Raindrops Falling"

Skitter-scatter,
Pitter-patter,
Raindrops falling,
Whistful longing.

Ocean breeze comes into town,
Reminds me of her, gets me down.
She lives so far, yet she's so close,
Reminds me why I love her most.

Skitter-scatter,
Pitter-patter,
Raindrops falling,
Time is crawling.

I watch the time, hope she'll return,
Near her I melt, my passion burns.
In her there's joy, a radiant glow,
For me, it helps, though I don't show.

Skitter-scatter,
Pitter-patter,
Raindrops falling,
Love is calling.

I find myself in idle stares,
I could be caught quite unawares.
A single sound, I know it's her!
My love once more begins to stir.

Rain is ending,
Love transcending.

Another co-poem by me and Cloud! He did the odd verses and I the even.

Two individuals
Each given unique tools
To deal with their life's low points
And help them, their gift annoints.

She has had a hard life, been wanting
Enduring all of others peoples taunting
He has lost loved ones, precious light
But in living he has never wavered his sight

Their lives are quite different
Yet niether is indignant
For you see, they both share
one thing: They truly care.

From both sides they meet each other
And sharing pasts, the find in one another
A link, a bond, something they have learned
And they found both of thier lives quite turned

Through different pasts, a future is formed,
A kind of gentle place, nothing forlorn.
Their minds are similar, even the same,
It seems that one mind was trapped in two frames.

Was their spirit too much for one?
And what happened to make this done?
Is this what they mean by fates hand?
And if so, to what does this fortend?

"Puck"

He's an asshole, he bitches and moans
But Puck doesn't care, listens, no groans.
This guy doesn't care for others, that's truth.
So Puck takes him under his wing, this youth.

He teaches him kindness, compassion, too.
He teaches him to care, not for 'me', but for you.
The boy is learning, slowly but sure,
For this boy, it seems Puck was the cure.

They're both quite kind now, growing in strength,
For all the others, they'd go to all lengths.
Though he grows in strength, Puck grows weaker,
Though he doesn't know, Puck's secret keeper.

The day before Puck gave up his soul,
He told the other he should take up his role.
Then, sadly, that night, Puck ended his life,
Why? We're not sure, some unfortunate strife.

Today he lives on, in the hearts of his friends,
Carrying the legacy, making sure it won't end.
Treat others with kindness, and show them respect,
For from them, returns just what you'd expect.

I never noticed this before
The many trials faced by others
And to the ones you don't
even suspect of living through them

A new aquantance, a now loyal friend
He writes stories, and is a joy to know
But what is deep down inside..
Something I never knew

He was once a normal person
Full of hate, anger, apathy
Then one person lifted him up
And showed him how he truely can live

And this ray of sunshine, shining down
Through the clouds, giving much needed
Warmth and light to he who needed it
The light...disappeared...

He was left alone to live on
The last words were ones of strength
Left behind by the one that had none
"Remember...live on...."

So now he takes up his mantle
Of the ray of light
Of that pillar of strength
And shows others how to truely live....
