Oh, and I know about the Great Wheel. I just said Sigil in case you weren't familiar with the campaign setting's name.

Jarring? LOL. I just thought it was a great idea after all. I always wanted to mix my characters with those of the Forgotten Realms.

The reason I made a distinction between back tracking and continuing is that to continue Aeris and Shuren would have to cross a mountain and a fair expanse of tundra. Also, the original plan was to meet at the elven town of Tirranda. Of course, you could always say that Archeron is the name the humans give the town. Mmmm, slip-up covering. I almost thought it was called Acheron the first time I saw it before I read it properly.

Sorry, i kinda forgot what name it was.

Fine then, the elven name for that town is Tirranda, while the humans in the region called it Archeron.
