I think it was from a DND site. Not sure. But what hooked me on was the Black Mage - Fighter relationship, plus Black Mage. Kind of reminds me of myself sometimes...

Friend of mine ((known as "Sai" or "Tofu" by those who know him)) gave me the link when he found it. And I was hooked by "Correction, I'll think"

I hate to add this again, but for the sake of adding to the census I as well was introduced by the newgrounds flash comic, which I found after the 8-bit dnd flash. I was hooked with "welcome to corneria" because it reminded me of my very first rpg, dragon warrior, back when I wondered things like "why did they go through all the trouble of including this character is all he's going to say is the name of the castle." Although I will admit that that was the only was I knew the names of any towns, not that that was important information or anything back in those days.

I discovered 8-bit Theater about six months ago and I've been hooked ever since. I was told about it by a friend who reads it regularly and after reading it all, have told everyone I thought would be interested. Easily one of the best web comics I've seen.
