There can't be a class change, they'd look just like the real light warriors.
I believe they'll find the rat's tail, but Red Mage will come up with a crazy scheme to get tons of rat tails for each of them so they will be upgraded to near godly ranks. Of course Bahamut will get angry and they'll blame it on thief, who should be getting his comeuppance any time now.

Fighter: Woot, we found the rat's tail!
RM: Wait, my friends! If we each get, say, ten million rat tails, that dragon will be forced to unleah our powers TEN MILLION FOLD, and we will all be ALL POWERFUL GODS! MWAHAHAHA!!!!!
Fighter: What kind of swords do we get?
BM: Honestly, do you think such a powerful entity will be fooled-
RM: You'll get Level 10,000,000 spells of destruction....
BM: So, where do we get these "rat tails"? (Heh-heh....and once I'm all powerful, I can destroy all you fools!)
Fighter: Hey Black Mage, when'd you learn that thiefy whisper thing?
BM: Fighter, would you like to play a game? It's called "Impale yourself on a sword".
Fighter: How do you play?

For reference, even though Brian may forget sometimes to make the comic thread, kindly just wait. If you are up at all hours of the night, it is to be assumed you will be up at all hours of the next night, and there is very little that can be said about an online comic that is so important that a person can't wait. He'll get around to making the thread eventually, and then we won't go back to where we were before with everyone wanting to make one.

If he assigns a thread delegate, then that person can do it too. If not, just keep your shorts on.

That said, Brian has essentially covered every plot element in some fashion. He may have missed the titan, but I guess only he knows since I sho' ain't gonna go back through the archives and spend my time on you lower life forms.

I'm pretty sure he did miss out on the titan, unless the Sulk counts. At very least, he did miss out on the crowbar/rod which you need to get in order to go from the Vampire's lair to Lich's.

Oh, I think I recall it being said that Sarda was replacing the circle of sages now that I think about it. Too bad in a way. The cirle of sages is kind of a different thing then Sarda. I thought it's be funny to ahve a bunch of old men talk about your destany and such. Ah well.

As for the Ice cave I didn't even make the connection. Was the ice cave your inparation. For that scene. I would have thought it weas way far away from where the hero's were at the time.
