Mixing things up here folks! Working with only base colors and heavy shadows. This is both an experiment in new colorations and as well as how shadow enhances a picture. The sketch isn't anything fancy. I threw it together while waiting for the GM to get his stuff ready for the D&D campaign. Edit: Shrunk it down, will post the normal sized one when it is completed Last edited by Grandmaster_Skweeb; 12-08-2005 at 10:20 PM. |

That's great, dude! I love the work you put into the costuming. It really brings it all together.
Anyway, picture of mine, it's encaustic. (Meaning painted with wax and oil paints.) My school doesn't allow oil paints, we had to use oil pastels. Not as nice to use. It's pretty gothy for me, honestly. Click for a larger version, in which you can see the details. And this is the very detailed version: Warning: Huge as fuck! Here.

Well, if you havn't heard the news, DrunkDuck has drowned.
The post I read said that the bills were not paid so the poor duck is history. *kapootza* There was mention of making a gallant return someday but the message didn't look hopeful. This airbrushing was done a few years ago. I think I'm just about out of color paintings to show. snoQueen Last edited by tweebus; 12-10-2005 at 03:50 PM. |

Tweebus: *dies* that is sooo sooo lovely. I love it. T_T We've never done anything that cool with airbrushing.
And Carnivore: I love the blood-looking effect splattered on the picture. Very cool. EDIT: And just because I feel like it, here's a stupid comic I drew in paint. I was not focusing on quality, obviously.

But it was only me, finishing off the few drops left of a bottle of Bacardi's Gold. And so 50 pages of comics lost to that big web comic in the sky. I'll always remember that look of bewildering innocence. The way he tried to make sense of a world gone mad. So few could ever hope to be that clueless. I'll feel better in the morn- or will I? |

The Snow Queen is a mighty fine piece of work, Tweeb. She was beutiful when I first looked at her, especially her oil slick hair, but the more I examined the picture, the more inhuman and creepy she became. The lower right side of the picture (her jaw) is this close to terrifying me.
And I'm sorry man, but if you're anything like me, you won't feel better in the morning at the rate you're going (maybe not in the afternoon either...). Celes, I wish that I was keeping up with FMA for two reasons. One, I'd probably get the joke better, and B, I wouldn't have had to read that first speach bubble as many times to understand what Ed's saying. It still looks nice, though, and I like the panel layout.

Celes, we all know about your obsession with Ed. It has been established since shortly after the show began showed up in the states. Your current avitar and devient art pages are a dead give away by themselves. :p
Oh, and once I get back to Phil's lair, I might just share some of my non-computer based sketches (read:doodles. Also, sketch is a strange word).
