Oh... I read it wrong...

1) He guessed it was 0-0, since game hasn't started, Jack is right and wins.

I read it as Craig was the better and lost...

1) Before the game started, Jack bet Craig $100 that he could predict the score of the hockey game. Then he predicted the score just before it ended.

2)This is answered, but I still have to say that Harry Houdini's wife did all that stuff to him all the time. Also, I'm sure they went out to eat after some of the shows.

You have a round birthday cake. With three straight slices of a knife, divide the cake into 8 equal pieces.

8 pieces in three cuts? No way. Three cuts can only do 4 to 7 pieces.

You cut through the middle, you cut perpendicular to the first cut(making four), and then you cut it in half top to bottom(making 8). Three dimensions in this world Ray.

Because he didn't have to predict it CORRECTLY. All he had to do was predict a score before the game started.

Because the hockey game was a repeat, and Jack had already seen it, but Craig hadn't.
