Nuke's dad

I have my suspicions but I figure I'll put this up for discussion. Who is Nuklear Man/Arel's father? And furthermore who thinks that it might have been an ingenius literary device by Mr. Clevinger to leave the issue deliberately vague? Or who thinks he thinks it's obvious and I'm an idiot?

ummm wasn't one of the old greek gods and that was possibly one of the reasons he kept refering back to greek mythology in his insults/light banter?

Nihel tells Nuke that it is Thor toward the end of the book. And Meister is right, it is Norse mythology. Greek mythology has Zeus, Artemis, etc. while the Norse mythology has, Thor, Loki, and the like. Doesn�t anybody take the time to read mythology these days?

I seem to Remember Nihel explaining that he and Nuke were part of the Gods who were supposed to fight in something if so I would guess Nuke is part of the Æsir clan and thus his father will most likely be Odin. I'll check when i get home
