After this I am putting a very large FoS on newb.

Why?

I think the mafia is doing the same tactic as last time. Neyo knows he's going to die, its inevitable what with the police officer targeting him. But maybe he can save one of his fellows, namely by voting for him, because if he votes for another of the mafia, it seems like he's trying to get him killed, but since he knows he's going to die, his vote won't matter.

The woodland critters of the forest gather around the sputterng Neyo, the aftertaste of chocolate-tinged silver cookies still fresh in the air.

"MoM didn't like you, why should we huh?"
"Arr...at least I won, spiritually, in the first game, arrr..." says Neyo the King, aka, Bikke, mafia-aligned, distraught pirateer.

After building a suitable gallows and hang the former seafarer, you retire to your homes, hoping that you don't become the next victim while simulataneously wishing that no else has to die.

Nothing. No smells, no sounds, just pure untarnished forest-seeping sunlight, without a hint of carnage. Heck, even the still, lifeless body of GARUD is peaceful. Around him lay sheets and scrolls, as if they were merely dropped once their contents had been read aloud. Garud's head, which had recently been in the process of breaking in some new tentacles, quivers ever so slightly, as if still processing its last sounds. You pick up a paper and can only make it to "How do I omniloathe thee/let me intricately detail the ways of admonishment" before dropping it in disgust. Even though, as a cult-initiate cult-aligned member of an order that routinely dropped itself in unspeakablely unimaginable horrors of the Beyond's Beyond, the horridity of the poetry seemed to have been the most unbearable thing it could take.

As you look around at those left you wonder who is friend and who is foe. Ya know, like every other Day so far.

Well, well, well. And to think that this all started with an extremely lucky random vote on Day 1. And then to think that it all was ended by a random voter. Let this be a lesson. Learn from my mistakes. And let it be written on my headstone:

Well, we got Neyo. And i DID tell you he was Mafia. The cult picked me up only because of my accuracy with my guesses.

Just letting you know that I've been busy with Uni the past 2 weeks so I haven't been able to post much. Looks like I missed an entire day.

I promised newb this a while back and it looks like something I thought about before is coming true... However I don't believe voting for you will yield any results at the moment so I'll have to wait, for now...

Umm... We've got 3 mafia left out of 10 players. Given we still have a significant advantage it isn't suicide to vote "no lynch" as newb kept suggesting. It is better to lose only 1 townie a day (it will take us 7 days to lose) than 2 because we eagerly vote without reason. I'm confused because he was saying for us not to lynch IHMN but also saying we shouldn't go for "no lynch". If IHMN was our only suspect we couldn't do anything right except randomly vote for someone else. I believe Newb knew that IHMN combined with the Mafia AND Townies randomly lynching would provide his team with a good chance of winning, by killing off 3 townies a night.

At this point I believe newb to be mafia and that he sacrificed Neyo to relieve his own suspicion (because Neyo was so far gone anyway). The list of suspects he provided earlier seems to be based on this. He provides names of "suspects" (who the mafia wants out of the way via the town so these player
s previous suspicions won't be looked at) including one, or maybe even two other mafia members. Remember, at the moment they only need us lynch townies and they'll win rapidly.

What evidence is there to suggest the Master of Magic was a cultist? I'm thinking newb also placed this in beforehand so if accused of being in the mafia he could reference this claiming he thought MoM was a cultist.

This leaves me, spoonybard and deathosaurus wrecks as suspects.

Me: I've tried to give a few good arguments for and against but at the moment I don't believe Newb is good. Also, I feel that many of newb's points for his accusations of me come from a time when I had no idea what I was doing in the game. I think he's looking for people who have acted strangely and who the town could be easily convinced to vote for.

SpoonyBard & Deathosaurus Wrecks: I see no reason to belive either of these players are mafia either. They aren't the most frequent posters but they still contribute enough. I really can see nothing to suggest either of them are suspicious. Care to enlighten me, anyone?

Trepie, you must recall that in a game where you are on a team, and we have to figure out the entire team, it's not just what you do, it's how you interact with other people. If you had been the one starting the game, I would never have guessed you, but because of the way that MB was acting, I'm fairly certain that your slot is mafiate. And the entire reason that I was after Neyo was SBs and DWs sudden random protection of him. Before that, I had just been following IHMN, our vig.

If we're going to say "oh, why should we accuse people because of things other people have done" then the mafiates can just protect each other with impunity and we'll never win.

And I know that SB and DW changed their minds later, but...

And to top it all off, Mestizio got the position she asked for in the beginning of the thread, and Major Blood was asking for a role, any role. Since mafiates are the only starter roles left, that leaves you with a highly suspect slot.

my decision to defend Neyo was not random, nor was it sudden. I agreed with Neyo's idea to lynch Jer in the beginning, as i saw Jer as a threat to the town. As the days progressed, when people accused Neyo of being mafiate, i assumed it was because of that previous day's vote. I have, of course, been proven wrong.

in fact, that seems to have happened alot this game, which is why i'm quieting down as we move to this critical point. (and Trepie: mafia wins when they = half the town, so only 6 days)

Seriously though, I have really disagreed with most of the choices Newb has made in this game, and he did the whole voting thing for Neyo seemed like a last ditch effort anyway.

Let me be he first to point suspicion to Spoonybard. Why you might ask? Well I am following the PO.

I guess you could explain it away as Spoony just changing his mind late like a normal person could, but it still looks suspicious. Like he's on the same team as Neyo, and waited until it was close to the deadline to vote IHMN to try and force a tie or get IHMN voted out instead. Sometimes someone voting pushes another's logic over the edge, making them cast the same vote not to long afterwards, which is what this whole thing would count on.

For the reasons that I believe this to be the next person he was going to point suspicion to, and basically accused him of being mafiate.

I have to say this for the sake of my sanity. I know I'm dead, but this is just informational fluff.

You guys will lose in 4 days if you don't lynch anybody. Because in four days, four people will die. That leaves 6 people with 3 mafia. Half, and the game will be over.

If you guys lynch people, and they are not mafia, you will lose in 2 days. Simply half the time of last scenario.

If you lynch a mafia, then the mathematics change, and I'm not going to post them now(because I'm lazy, and that would be too many different scenarios). In so many words, vote wisely.

I would like to add that Mesden told all of you people that Neyo was mafia. Till she died... my beloved leader...
