For people who want more games to play in:

There are two mafia games on RPoL, both still asking for players. They're in the strategy section.

I can't imagine why two opened so close in time to each other, but there you go.

I would like to make a game with the roles as NPF members. It will have some slight changes to the other Mafia games, but other than those...

Roles:

Townies:
PO:
Cultist leader:
Bodyguard:
Demon Slayer(Randomly given names, kills whomever among those names, Vig): Garud
Mafia:
Random Killer(50% chance SK):
Roleblocker:
Spammer (Kills 1 random person if lynched, or whomever got him in the night roles. Also kills PO or Bodyguard if targeted by them):

By roles though, an NPF member will represent them. That person may be involved in the game, but his representation may be to a different role.

eg. Garud represents the demon slayer role, but the member may be a Roleblocker.

Also, PM me if you want to represent a role. I'll be happy to give you what you want, but don't ask me for a role IN-GAME, it is supposed to be random choosing.

Again: It is not necessary to detail the specifics of your game's roles. In fact, if you think about it, it might hurt the overall experience for the players. How long in SP did everybody deliberate to seperate who was or wasn't the Vig/SK? Sure it might be a small trifle but its something to consider.

@Garud: I participated in a similar game. As such, I'd advise that no specific names be used, opting for more general purpose titles. Like, instead of a vig named shiney just say "Rules-Minding Mod", instead of Otaku Son use "Douchebag Extreme", and of course "Manslut" for krylo.

EDIT: Ok, since shiney never responded to my PM and has been posting in other places on the forum, I'm going to assume the ass position and assume that he doesn't mind multiple games. If it turns out he does I will take all the blame and whatever reprecussions and we'll stick with a one game at a time system.

Mesden and Major_Blood, I am moving your games into the Currently Running section, take that as you will.

However, I'm gonna have to come up with an idea.

Towns people: Forumer
Bodyguard: mammothtank
Mafia Leader: Kneumatic Pnight
Masons: SephirothSama, BlackMageGirl!
Vig: Krylo
SK: Silly Kitty
Mafiates: Dragonsbane, Mesden, The_Wizard_Who_Did_It, CheshireThief
PO: Flarecobra
Cult Leader: FenrisWolf (Any of the old chat regulars will get this one.)

Please note that these are just the names of the roles. For example, if Twiddy plays, he may not be a mafiate. He may very well be me.

Um I don't know if I can put a role for consideration in here or not. I have no plans on running a game at present. And I didn't see it in that link CmP put up sooooo, for your consideration.

The Mystic Crone: This is a known townie aligned player who is immune to death and cult activites. They are unable to vote however. All they can do is dispense advice from a known townies perspective. Does not count towards townie victory conditions. Ex: If the mafia have reduced the number of townies to their number, the crone doesn't count.

Another role idea: Not sure what to call it though. Anyway here the idea

Town Herald (or other name): A townie aligned player that sends the GO a message that is posted with the results of the nights activites. The message can say anything about anyone and is anonymous. Takes the form of notes left around town. (Location is irrelevant.) If absorbed by the cult, is a useful way to spread propaganda. Can also be a mason.
